When "hate crimes" legislation was being drafted was the overarching goal to stick it to whitey?

We all know that's what hate crimes legislation is really about.|||Actually national hate crime legislation is just another example of the Federal Government infringing on state's rights.|||Yes.|||pretty much you know nobody can be more sucessful than anyone else otherwise it is just racist.

Sorry not the same person GBTBM.|||Yes. We don't hear much about the hate crimes against white people.|||I used toi think so, but this weekend in New York 3 black guys and a puerto rican beat a mexican guy. All are charged with hate crimes. About time everyone got to taste the stupid of those things.|||No it was not, it became a very malleable system to use for marxist interpretation of law.

It worked too, because then anyone who doesn't want to cooperate with marxism is automatically racist.

"politically correct" language is only a masquerade.|||I don't think the goal was to stick it to anyone. These so-called hate crime bills are designed to gain minority voters.|||Of course. White people understand their place in Western society now, second class. You can spew hatred at "whitey" and even be elected president of the USA when doing it, but white people better watch their step. I think we all realize by now that we're the race you can kick around and disrespect and deny jobs based on our race.|||No. It was a misguided attempt to decrease racial violence. You simply can't legislate what people think no matter how much liberals want to..|||Yep, we do.

There was an actual hate crime not too long ago by me, a black female was accosting a white woman yelling racial comments and slapping her in a parking lot. They called it assault.|||Just another liberal feel good law.|||I'm not sure.

I recall a black guy punching a Hasidic Jew in the face after yelling "Hey, Jew!"

He got charged with a hate crime.

If you get assaulted and the motive is conclusively shown to be racially motivated, it's a hate crime.

No matter who you are.

Now, if most of these hate crimes are committed by "whitey," that's another story...

Either there are hate crimes committed by "non-whitey" folks that go unreported.

Or, the "whitey" you refer to gives me a reason to be ashamed of my race.

Maybe we should take a good hard look at ourselves and other members of our "whitey" race and see if we can do something to stop that sort of behavior...|||Like I posted on another question there are white people that are homosexual.

Isn't the bill named after a young white male that was killed because he was gay?|||Yeah, because hate crimes legislation doesn't cover sexual orientation, religion, political affiliation, gender--just race.|||If your of the caucasian persuasion then the answer is yes. If however your of a skin pigmentation that is devoid of coloration. Then the answer is no.

Just depends on which side of the color spectrum you happen to be.

Have a nice day.|||I'm going to assume that based on your similar questions, not to mention similarly god-awful grammar and spelling, that you and dropkickmurphy are the same person. Congratulations on having no life.
