The final step of the U.S. Congressional legislative process before a bill becomes law involves the President of the United States. What options does the president have in dealing with legislation sent to him in this final step of a bill becoming law? why?|||1. He can pass the law and 'sign it in'
2. He can veto it
3. He can use a 'pocket veto' which is to leave the bill on his desk, meaning he neither signs it or vetos it. The bill however becomes law without the Presidents signature regardless within 10 congressional days. But if there is less than the 10 congressional working days left then the President can leave it.
1 and 2 are his constitutional right given to him in Article two of the constitution.
and i think number 3 is part constitution (the bit about the 10 congressional working days).
