What legislation have liberals tried to pass that ended subsidies for corporations and closed tax loopholes?

I would like to see the legislation pur forth by liberals to end corporate welfare but shot down by the GOP because only the GOP is in bed with corporations. I'll wait......|||None. The Democrats are as guilty of corporatism as the GOP.



If you think corporatism is a bad thing, you need to be checking the box for Ron Paul.



EDIT: James, that's not true. And the fact that you think ending subsidies for oil companies could be done with one piece of legislation proves that you don't understand how complex the corruption is.



EDIT2: Okay, you weren't lying. The DailyKos was.|||There was recent legislation to end subsidies for oil companies (the worlds most profitable industry of all time). Not one Republican voted for it.

The Republicans blocked an attempt to end tax breaks for companies that offshore US jobs.
