What will Obama do if the legislation requiring all candidates show their birth certificate passes?

Let's be very clear on this... There is a difference between a birth certificate and a certificate of live birth.





I know people who work at the DMV, and even there, a certificate of live birth is not a valid document.

If Obama's father's race was listed as " AFRICAN " ( which is a nationality NOT a race ) his mother's " race " would have been listed as " EUROPEAN "|||Lets BE clear.


Your information is false. I have a certificate of live birth from California, which includes all the gory details, is signed by the doctor and which is completely legal. Hawaii's short form is absolutely legal, and valid in any court of law.


Obama does not veto anything at the state level. The law in Arizona is subject to legal analysis, and is laughable. You have heard of the Constitution? The definition of citizenship is a federal issue. And one state does not get to tell another state that their legal records are invalid.|||A birth certificate is whatever a state says is a birth certificate. All birth certificates in the US are based on the US Standard Certificate of Live Birth from the CDC. Even BCs in 1961 said they were Certificates of Live Birth. It matches the State Department guidelines for a passport, the I9 requirements for proof of citizenship, the Little League requirements, and the DMV requirements in every state. If the AZ bill passes, the AZ Sec of State says he will accept Obama's COLB. But the bill is unconstitutional and would be thrown out as soon as it hit a judge's desk. States can't put additional restrictions on Constitutional offices than appear in the Constitution, and states must accept the official documents of other states. So if Hawaii says the COLB is a legal birth certificate, and certifies that Obama was born in the state of Hawaii, AZ and every other state must honor that certification.





BTW -- Arizona hasn't collected doctor's and witnesses' signatures on their birth certificates since 1989. In 14 years, no one born in AZ after 1989 will be eligible for the AZ ballot.|||He'll probably try to win without the support from Arizona. The DMV and the State Department (Passport Office) were quite happy with my certified copy of a record of live birth. It seems only you have trouble.|||Who cares..if you haven't noticed the Republicans are screwing their new voters already in Ohio and Michigan.
