Will they use this last chance to ram-rod their "progressive" legislation through, or will they respect the will of the People?|||G'day Norm Deguerre,
Thank you for your question.
Not much is the short answer. Extension to the tax cuts, unemployment insurance, Medicare and spending bills are on the agenda. DREAM is possibly on the Senate agenda but would probably face a filibuster.
In any case, they would be silly doing much given that they no longer have a mandate.
Regards|||LOL --- I take it this little whiney question relates to the Health Insurance Reform Act - which is the main reason President Obama was elected - and which he succeeded in overcoming the Republicans in enacting - because Republicans are weak and cowardly.
By the way - the majority of Americans WANT the Health Reform to continue.
That's because the Majority of Americans have a conscience - something lacking in Modern Republicans.
That's why they support an Ideology such as Modern Republicanism which is so chock full of moral vacancy, posturing, and hypocrisy.
Hope this helps.|||Exactly what progressive legislation are you referring to? The health care bill panders to insurance companies (big business), he just extended the war, and the rich will probably get their tax cut. What exactly are you Republicans complaining about???|||I have heard that Cap and Tax is a dead issue (thankfully) and will not be on the calendar for the next congress but the "Dream Act" and START treaty is alive and well and hanging over out head like a guillotine.|||The power hungry socialists -- I mean democrats will push through giving illegals the vote -- and they all vote for democrats.|||They'll find some way to do it behind close doors and not even let it be known there was a bill. That's how they do alot of security type bills these days. Like the airport screening ones.|||None
This section is so homoerotic. You people are always talking about having things rammed some where.|||Except Republicans think the will of the people is kissing rich people's ***, so their ideas aren't as bad|||Dream act phase one of total amnesty.|||DREAM Act
watch out for this amnesty in disguise.|||Respect the will of the people.....that's a good one ...rofl|||They tried to float the idea of the DREAM Act but that died before the vote was even taken LMAO|||Value added tax
