What legislation exists to recognise and protect your terms and conditions of

employment on the grounds of sex, marital status, race or disability?

Help me with my NVQ please|||There are several Acts, It began with the Equal Pay Act 1975 which made it illegal to discriminate against women on pay, and more has been added over time, sometimes by Act, sometimes by making Regulations. The Equality Act 2010 is the latest and most comprehensive.|||In the UK it is The Equal Opportunities' legislation which says you must not be discrimated against based on your gender, race, religion, colour or disability.|||I don't know where you live but, in Australia we have an Anti-Discrimination act and also, each frorm of discrimination has it's own act... there is also the Human Rights and a Fair Work act|||As Jan said - Equal Opportunities Act UK - all you have to do is put that into google all the info you want will come up.
