I am currently finishing a college class on wildlife management and came across little, if any, major legislation pushed by liberals dealing with wildlife and habitat conservation. The majority has been done by Republicans. Just curious.|||That's where the term "conservative" came from. Republicans specialize in wildlife refuges, national parks and other land preservation. Pres Bush expanded the public land preservation to include the oceans.
It was a Republican (Teddy R) who started the national park system.
